Today’s volunteer shoutout goes to a guy that I have known for my entire life. One that has been there for me through everything that I have been through- good and bad. Hope for Kids would not function like it does without Jeremiah Boulter. This man of God has demonstrated such character and Christlikeness in so many ways. He left all familiarity, family, basketball dreams, (he’s an absolute beast on the court) and all other types of comfort, all for the sake of Christ once he felt the Lord’s call on his life. Today he turns 20 and I want to publicly recognize him for the impact he has had on me, my family, all those he comes in contact with, and especially every little child that he has invested in by answering the Lord’s call and joining Hope for Kids Ministries. He works long hours at the office AND in the city, always finds time to encourage and build into those around him, and walks an admirable walk of faith through even the most difficult times. He is such an incredible example of a man after God’s own heart.
Thank you for all you do, Jeb, and for being a best friend to me, and all the children you so selflessly reach. God’s got an incredible reward waiting for you, so don’t ever give up! Remember one of my all time favorite verses Galations 6:9 which says: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Satan will hit you hard, as you already know full well, but the impact you are making is one that effects eternity. So happy birthday Jeb!! And remember that not only myself, but everybody here at HFK and all the children of Springfield need you and appreciate you!!
